Jenna Pearl Leonard
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Jenna Pearl Leonard brings more than 20 years of working in the hospitality industry to her role as Service Director for Audrey Nashville. Raised by private investigators and studying Forensic Psychology at John Jay University, she is no stranger to studying human behaviors and understanding what motivates people. Her strong sense of empathy and diplomacy have played a huge role in each of her restaurant management positions throughout her career, which began at Morandi in NYC. Jenna held a variety of dining room management roles at New York City-based establishments including Union Square Cafe, NoMad Restaurant, and Agern. Her NoMad breakfast team is still very near and dear to her heart and continues to be a motivating force. In 2017, she took her sights to Nashville, TN. She became the Dining Room Manager at one of Sean Brock’s previous concepts, Husk Nashville, where she met her husband, Nate Leonard, the former CDC of Husk.
To Jenna, the most important part of being a leader is making sure everyone who enters the building feels inspired and cared for, whether they are a team member or a guest. In her role as the Service Director, she looks forward to curating memorable experiences for each and every person that walks through the door. Her goal is to make everyone feel as though they are simultaneously right at home and on an adventure. She is excited to see what obsession Sean Brock has next because his most recent obsessions led to a building full of art, history and growth opportunities. She is driven by the inspiration within Audrey’s walls which force you to think big while still holding on to nostalgia and mindfulness.
When she’s not at Audrey, Jenna has been working towards a hospitality themed graphic novel. Much like seed saving, Jenna doesn’t want the people she’s met throughout her hospitality career to be forgotten, so she has been drawing them since her time in diners when she was a teenager. Her graphic novel will give readers a glimpse into who contributes to life’s special moments and who makes our industry so damn special. You can check it out on Instagram at@_jennamadethis.
